Vermut Clarete Taula

Taula

Barcelona , España

Overall impression

Vermut Clarete Taula is the rosé-style reference from Taula's first limited edition (Barcelona, 2025), a natural-wine vermouth project made entirely in Barcelona. The producer describes it as "easy to drink, with a touch of madness": fresh and vibrant, with grapefruit, Mediterranean herbs and spice; brilliant, slightly acidic and with a funky character. 100% made in Barcelona from 100% Catalan natural wines and over 50 herbs and botanicals. 15% vol., 75 cl; minimum order of 6 bottles. "Sweet… not that sweet." The more expressive and singular of the two Taula references, aimed at natural-wine drinkers seeking a characterful aperitif.

How to serve it

Given its citrus (grapefruit) profile and vibrant acidity, it suits ice with a grapefruit or lime slice; also very cold without ice. A terrace aperitif in a natural and contemporary key. Its funky natural-wine base character invites tasting it solo to appreciate its singularity.

Production context

Made entirely in Barcelona by Taula from 100% Catalan natural wines in a clarete style, macerated with over 50 herbs and botanicals; grape varieties not specified in available commercial communications. 15% vol., 75 cl format; limited 2025 edition, minimum order of 6 bottles. Clarete reference of the Taula range alongside the 2025 Blanco. Spain-only distribution.
