Vermut Miel Apigu is the author vermouth from Apicultores de Guadalajara (Puebla de Beleña): a family that has produced honey for several generations, with a workshop in Guadalajara province. According to mieldeguadalajara.es, it is made with their finest lavender honey, «with an authentic flavour» and its own personality. The Alimentos de Guadalajara sheet — provincial sales channel — lists wine, lavender honey, wormwood, spike lavender, spearmint, nutmeg, cinnamon, clove, ginger, cardamom, colouring caramel and citric acid; 75 cl. Silver medal at The Mediterranean Awards International Wine & Spirits Competition 2023 (Granada). The house’s lavender honey won silver at the London Honey Awards 2021; forest honey, gold at the same contest. For Vermutpedia, it documents a Castile-La Mancha beekeeper’s vermouth: sweetness comes from their own honey, not declared industrial sugar.
