Vermut Entizne
Overall impression
Vermut Entizne is the private vermouth brand of Agustín Albacete S.A. (AASA), a wine and spirits distributor based at the Barbalanca industrial estate in Borja (Zaragoza). The official shop presents it as an “exclusive product” and “vermouth unique like its name”: dark reddish mahogany colour, fine elegant flavour with Mediterranean herbs, ripe fruit and warm essences with citrus notes. 75 cl format, indicative price €6.60 on the AASA sheet. It fills the same niche as Maronti or Castelrío — distributor-label vermouth — here aimed at the Aragonese distribution channel rather than a national supermarket chain. For Vermutpedia, Entizne widens the map of Spanish private labels beyond the Mercadona–DIA–Alcampo axis.
Nose and palate
Pending evaluation. AASA’s commercial note points to Mediterranean herbs, ripe fruit, warm essences and citrus on a wine base; semisweet aperitif profile, with no public data on ageing or detailed botanicals. Dark reddish mahogany colour per the house.
How to serve it
Cold, with ice and orange slice, in Aragonese aperitif style. Fits Campo de Borja snacking — the distributor’s catchment — with cured meats, cheeses and pickles. Also in simple mixed drinks. Keep sealed in a cool place.
Production context
Marketed by Agustín Albacete S.A., Avda. Campo de Borja 3, 50540 Borja (Zaragoza). EAN 843704061249; 75 cl. Labelled as an exclusive / private-label product of the distributor. AASA’s public web sheet does not declare alcohol by volume; contains sulphites. For Vermutpedia, Entizne synthesises Aragonese exclusive-distribution red vermouth: AASA in Borja, 75 cl and a verifiable sheet at agustinalbacete.com.
