Overall impression

Miss Vermut Picante is the fiery variant in Casa Miss's «de los guapos» range (Sa Pobla). Same base and Mallorcan botanicals as the classic, with arroz brut spices and maceration of hot peppers. Gold medal World Vermouth Awards 2026; at Vinari 2025 it was recognised as Best Innovation Vermouth as Vermut Ca Sa Miss Picante. For Vermutpedia, it represents the spicy pole of the Miss project: same Premsal Blanc and Túnel production, added chilli tension and international validation — an original proposal designed to «test your senses» without abandoning Mallorcan vermouth character.

Nose and palate

Semisweet with a spiced background and spicy heat on the retro-nose. Local herbs, citrus notes and a chilli layer that adds tension without losing Mallorcan vermouth character. Original proposal designed to «put your senses to the test». On the nose, the classic Miss herbaceous-spiced profile arrives first, followed by capsaicin warmth and peppery lift. On the palate, semisweet roundness gives way to progressive heat that builds in the finish rather than attacking on entry — integrated rather than purely hot. The arroz brut spice base remains identifiable beneath the chilli maceration. Compared with the classic Miss, Picante trades some floral softness for excitement and food-pairing versatility. Texture is similar: round, Mediterranean, with a longer spicy aftertaste. A vermouth for adventurous palates and salted tapas contexts.

How to serve it

Cold, neat or with ice; pairs with salted tapas or dishes where spicy contrast enhances the aperitif. Third style alongside the classic Guapo and the house's special editions. Serve between 6 and 8 °C with ice; avoid over-dilution so the chilli register stays present. Works with grilled octopus, spicy chorizo, patatas bravas and other tapas where heat meets vermouth sweetness. Also interesting in a spicy Bloody Mary variation or a salted rim glass for brunch contexts. Not ideal for delicate Martini work — Picante wants food and conversation. For Vermutpedia, Miss Vermut Picante is drunk cold with ice alongside bold tapas, as the fiery sibling of the classic Miss in the Balearic catalogue.

Production context

Made in Sa Pobla with the same team as standard Miss Vermut (Casa Miss and Bodegas Túnel, Pep Natta). 15% vol., 75 cl. International consolidation of the Balearic brand at World Vermouth Awards 2025–2026. Same Premsal Blanc base and arroz brut spice philosophy with added hot-pepper maceration. For Vermutpedia, Miss Vermut Picante synthesises spicy Mallorcan vermouth: gold WVA 2026, Vinari innovation prize, and verifiable presence at missvermut.com alongside the classic and limited editions.
