Miss Vermut
Vermutpedia Score: 7.6/10
Overall impression
Miss Vermut is the Mallorcan vermouth from Bar Casa Miss (Plaça Constitució, Sa Pobla), made with Bodegas Túnel and chemist Pep Natta. Aromatic plants and herbs seasoned with the four spices of arroz brut; artisan, elegant, local product under the slogan «el vermut de los guapos» («the handsome people's vermouth»). Best Vermouth in the Balearics at Premios Vinari 2024 and Best Vermouth in the World in the semisweet category at World Vermouth Awards 2025; bronze WVA 2026. For Vermutpedia, it represents Mallorcan vermouth with kitchen-rooted botanicals, Premsal Blanc base and international award validation — a vermutería project that became a bottled brand without losing Sa Pobla identity.
Nose and palate
Semisweet, herbaceous and spiced profile with Mallorcan kitchen nuances. Balance between sweetness, botanical bitterness and Mediterranean freshness; intense and recognisable in the glass, the fruit of multiple trials until the definitive formula driven by the house's customers and friends. On the nose, arroz brut spices — cinnamon, saffron, pepper and paprika tradition — mingle with local herbs and Premsal Blanc fruit. On the palate, semisweet entry, integrated wormwood bitterness and a spiced middle that distinguishes Miss from generic Spanish reds. Texture is round without heaviness; the finish leaves herbal persistence and a warm spice echo. Compared with Miss Vermut Picante, the classic is softer and more aromatic; against industrial vermouths, it offers clearer Mallorcan provenance and vermutería authenticity. A red that rewards both solo aperitif and the house's signature cocktails.
How to serve it
Neat with ice, with orange foam or in cocktails such as the Miss Tremenda (Miss Vermut, km0 vodka, guava, pineapple and lemon). Aperitif at the vermutería or via the brand's online shop. Serve cold between 6 and 8 °C in a wide glass with ice; the orange foam format is a house signature that lifts citrus over the spiced base. In the Miss Tremenda, the vermouth's herbaceous-spiced character supports tropical fruit without losing identity. Also works in a simple rebujito-style lengthener with soda for terrace sessions. Pairs with Mallorcan tapas, sobrasada, olives and salted fish. For Vermutpedia, Miss Vermut is drunk cold with ice at the vermutería or at home — social, award-winning, unmistakably Sa Pobla.
Production context
15% vol. Collaborative project perfected until the definitive recipe was found. Range expanded with Miss Vermut Picante and limited editions such as the Etiqueta Domingo Zapata (Magnum 1.5 L and Double Magnum 3 L). Made in Sa Pobla with Bodegas Túnel and Pep Natta on a Premsal Blanc base. Casa Miss on Plaça Constitució anchors the brand in vermutería culture before bottling. For Vermutpedia, Miss Vermut synthesises Balearic artisan vermouth: arroz brut spices, Vinari and WVA recognition, and verifiable presence at missvermut.com.
