Overall impression

Padró & Co. Dorado Amargo Suave is the amber vermouth of Padró i Família (Bràfim, Tarragona): a traditional golden colour built on estate-grown Macabeo with infused botanicals — gentian, cinchona and wormwood — and ageing in semi-new chestnut barrels. 94 points Guía Peñín (Top-10 vermouths); Gold medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition and Vinari 2021.

Nose and palate

An alpine ensemble, fresh and balsamic; powerful bitterness in balance with a refreshing sensation. A soft but persistent bitter flavour; complex and elegant.

How to serve it

Cold and without ice — as the house recommends for the best tasting experience. Pairs with cheeses, foie gras or served as a lemon granita in summer.

Production context

Produced in Bràfim. 18% vol., 75 cl. The Padró & Co. range alongside Rojo Amargo, Blanco Reserva and other references.
