Vermut Rojo 6 Veinticinco
Overall impression
Vermut Rojo 6 Veinticinco is the red reference in the artisan vermouth line from Viña Carmina, the family winery of José Gabriel Quintanal in Vargas (Puente Viesgo, Cantabria). According to saboresdecantabriaonline.es, a classic red vermouth on red wine with selected aromatic herb maceration: smooth entry, strong aromatic intensity and a bitter touch. The house, with its own albariño, godello and treixadura vineyard under Costa de Cantabria IGP, complements its white range with this fully artisan vermouth line — red and white — according to interviews in El Diario Montañés. Small Cantabrian production for local aperitif, distinct from large vermouth houses. 15% vol., 75 cl. For Vermutpedia, 6 Veinticinco documents Pas valley red vermouth: red wine base, proprietary botanics and a «made in Cantabria» character.
