Antonio Parigi Vermouth Grandsprix 1911 Bianco

Premiata Distilleria Antonio Parigi

Canavese , Italia

Overall impression

Vermutpedia is re-evaluating the Italian catalogue; the Vermutpedia Score for this entry remains pending until the next tasting round. Grandsprix 1911 is the historic Turin bianco vermouth of Premiata Distilleria Antonio Parigi, active since 1890 in the Piedmontese Canavese. Presented at the 1911 International Exposition in Turin — the fiftieth anniversary of Italian unification — and relaunched in 2020 from the old recipe. An icon of Turinese «delizia» when Italian vermouth triumphed at home and abroad.

How to serve it

Cold, neat or in the house pairings; also in the Chivasso-Casale cocktail with local bitter and ambrato. Available at Pampucet (Colcavagno), Revel Chion (Chiaverano) and Bonfante (Chivasso).

Production context

18% vol., 75 cl. Antonio Parigi started alone on 1 January 1890 after the Garetti-Parigi-Graziola partnership, settling on Crosa family property. A history rich in international awards recovered by the brand's new generation.
