Arnao Vermut Blanco Barrica

Arnao Vermut

Ribadeo , España

Overall impression

Arnao Vermut Blanco Barrica is the aged version of the Ribadeo white: Godello macerated with Galician aromatic herbs rests six months in American oak before bottling, per the official presentation at Salón Gourmets 2024. It adds a further degree of complexity to the citrus-mineral profile of Arnao White without ageing, within the house Atlantic line.

Nose and palate

Pending evaluation.

How to serve it

Well chilled, in the line of the classic white (olive or lemon); barrel ageing also invites a more unhurried tasting in glass.

Production context

Made by Arnao Vermut in Ribadeo (Lugo) on Valdeorras Godello, with six months in American oak. 15% vol., 75 cl. Fifth vermouth reference alongside Red, White, Red Barrel and Mezclado.
