Overall impression

Set i Mig is the vermouth from Bodegas Ángel (Santa Maria del Camí, Mallorca), named after the Mallorcan card game siete y media (seven and a half). Per the winery technical sheet, it is a vermouth-style aromatised wine whose characteristic flavour comes from Artemisia species, made from distinct organic white varieties. Slightly cloudy amber colour. Vinos Ángel Aromáticos line alongside Moni Dolç. 15% vol., 75 cl bottle.

Nose and palate

Pending evaluation.

How to serve it

The technical sheet recommends 6–8 °C as aperitif, with lemon or orange slice, ice and olives. Pairs with fish and shellfish preserves — mussels, vinegar anchovies — crisps or potato salad. Serve cold in wide glass or low cup. Well kept in optimal temperature and humidity, it lasts 2–3 years.

Production context

Bodegas Ángel elaborates in Santa Maria del Camí (Mallorca). Process per technical sheet: fermentation in stainless steel tanks under temperature control (10–15 °C) and maceration in wine with natural extracts of herbs and fruits, cane sugar and alcohol. 15% vol., 75 cl in six-bottle case. Bottled June 2024. For Vermutpedia, Set i Mig synthesises Balearic artisan vermouth from Ángel: organic white grapes, macerated botanics, semisweet, no ageing.
