Vermut Tamburo Rojo
Overall impression
Vermut Tamburo Rojo is the sole vermouth reference from Sabores Extremeños S.L. (Almendralejo, Badajoz): a family liqueur house founded in 1972, first Extremadura spirits company to earn the regional food-quality mark (1991). The name refers to the Italian «tamburo» tradition — a drum where herbs, roots, spices, flowers and fruit were macerated before aromatising vermouth. Per the official shop, it is made by traditional method from quality white wine, selected aromatic herbs, citrus, liquorice and spices; 15% vol. The trade sheet describes mahogany brown with amber reflections, fruity nose (orange peel), balsamic liquorice, cinnamon and integrated wormwood. Available in 1 L (standard) and 3 L for hospitality. For Vermutpedia, it documents Tamburo's volume industrial Extremaduran red vermouth.
