Laguardia
Overall impression
Vermut Todo el Rato is the red vermouth of Bodegas Javier San Pedro Ortega (Laguardia, Rioja Alavesa): fifth-generation winegrowers with their own project since 2013, winery on the slopes of the Sierra de Cantabria. It belongs to the Anahí line — dedicated to the winemaker's mother — and is made on the base of the semisweet Anahí wine, a blend of Tempranillo Blanco, Malvasía and Sauvignon Blanc. Controlled artisan maceration of herbs and spices; the house and aligned channels cite wormwood, savory, gentian, chamomile, thyme, rhubarb, clove, orange peel, rosemary and lavender, macerated with molasses alcohol to lock in aroma. Sole vermouth reference from the winery (alongside a gin in their spirits catalogue). 15% vol., 75 cl; the label presents it as Rojo Clásico with the motto “Think less. Feel more.”
