Overall impression

Turmeon Rosé is the rosé vermouth of Bodegas Jaime (Morata de Jalón, Zaragoza), within the innovative range that includes Weed and Honey versus Original, Blanco, Clásico and Zero. According to turmeon.com, it is pretty on the outside, mischievous on the inside: brilliant pink colour with almost golden reflections and freshness sensed before tasting. Floral, fruity and with an acidic point that leaves you wanting more; the house warns not to underestimate its colour. Made with Garnacha tinta — the same grape drunk straight from the bottle at village festivals — and macerated with botanicals including red fruits, rose petals, grapefruit peel and cinnamon. Part of family vermouth tradition in century-old winery soleras since 1846. 15% vol., 100 g/l sugar, 750 ml. World's first animated label in the line. For Vermutpedia, it represents Turmeon's Aragonese rosé: seductive, summery and balanced between sweetness and acidity, built for terraces and spontaneous toasts.

Nose and palate

The official sheet describes a nose of red fruits, rose petals, green apple and a playful citrus point. On the palate it is indulgent but light, with perfect balance between sweetness and acidity per the house: refreshing, delicate and unapologetically seductive. 100 g/l sweetness is more restrained than Turmeon Original (140 g/l), reinforcing the sense of lightness; Garnacha tinta brings red fruit and vinous freshness. Botanicals — red fruits, rose petals, grapefruit peel, cinnamon — integrate without dominating the fruity-floral profile. Compared with Blanco, Rosé is more playful and fruity; versus industrial rosé vermouths, it keeps Jaime identity: solera, Mediterranean botanicals and the brand's irreverent copy. Silky but less dense than Original; refreshing finish that invites repeat in summer context. Brilliant pink with golden reflections; accessible semisweet register and highly photogenic in the glass.

How to serve it

Turmeon conceives Rosé for sunny afternoons, parties that start without a plan or spontaneous toasts — summer context the house makes explicit on its product sheet. Serve very cold with ice on the terrace; also in rosé spritz or summery builds where a fruity, light vermouth is wanted. Sweet-acid balance makes it versatile in creative cocktails: it can replace commercial white or rosé vermouth in fruity-profile drinks. Temperature between 6 and 8 °C, in wide glass or highball; grapefruit slice or red fruits reinforce botanical maceration. Pairs with salads, preserves, fresh cheese and light aperitivos. In Spain, sharing a bottle with ice among friends is ritual coherent with the Turmeon line. For hospitality, colour and animated label add visual value on a vermouth list. Not a dry meditation rosé: it is festive vermouth, easy to drink and highly identifiable.

Production context

Bodegas Jaime makes Turmeon Rosé in Morata de Jalón: Garnacha tinta base, maceration with botanicals — red fruits, rose petals, grapefruit peel, cinnamon and others from the family recipe; criadera and solera system shared with the rest of the range. 15% vol.; 100 g/l sugar; 750 ml format. Turmeon range: Original, Blanco, Clásico, Zero, Weed, Honey, Rosé and 3 L tap. World's first moving label. Vermouth recipe over a hundred years old, marketed since 2015. For Vermutpedia, Turmeon Rosé synthesises Aragonese rosé vermouth: Garnacha, floral-fruity botanicals, sweet-acid balance and Jaime tradition documented at turmeon.com/producto/turmeon-rose/.
