Vermut Andresito
Overall impression
Vermut Andresito is the vermouth from Bodega Niño de la Salina (Almargen, Málaga), in the Sierra de las Nieves, launched from 2018 as a natural extension of the family tradition «Andresito, el Niño de la Salina». Made from estate Pedro Ximénez and some twenty natural botanicals — wormwood, gentian, carob, liquorice, cinnamon, clove, cardamom and others — macerated for two months. Medium amber colour, clean and bright; aromas of herbs, orange peel, eucalyptus, menthol, cinnamon, clove, liquorice and carob per distribution sheets aligned with the winery. 15% vol., 75 cl. For Vermutpedia, Andresito embodies inland Málaga vermouth: author PX, declared botanicals and manual vineyard control on family plots.

Pending evaluation.
How to serve it
The winemaker recommends serving at 10 °C or with ice. Pairs with cheeses, nuts, cockles and tinned mussels — preserves and salted-fish aperitivo typical of the south. Also in a glass served very cold to appreciate the balance of sweetness, acidity and bitterness described in tasting notes. Orange slice enhances maceration citrus. Not Jerez butt vermouth: more direct, fruity-balsamic profile on macerated young PX.
Production context
Starts from 100% Pedro Ximénez base wine from own production in Almargen; addition of twenty vegetable substances and two months' maceration to obtain the vermouth. Winery registered in Sierras de Málaga and Málaga; manual harvest and ripeness control in own vineyard. 15% vol., 75 cl. Family project with the motto «young spirit, old ideals». For Vermutpedia, Andresito documents Málaga PX vermouth without long solera: two months' botanical maceration and estate grapes in Sierra de las Nieves.
