4 Xavos Vermut Crianza

Bodegas Alonso Sanz

Aielo de Malferit , España

Overall impression

4 Xavos Vermut Crianza is the aged expression of the Valencian range from Bodegas Alonso Sanz: a red vermouth matured for one year in American oak barrels. It shares the same Garnacha base and herb selection — with wormwood as the lead botanical — as the classic red, but gains depth, unctuousness and herbal intensity through barrel ageing.

Nose and palate

Pending evaluation.

How to serve it

Served cold; optionally with soda or siphon to soften the intensity. For palates seeking a Valencian vermouth with barrel character.
