Ana Caballo Vermouth Rojo
Overall impression
Ana Caballo Vermouth Rojo is the red reference of Ana Caballo Vermouth S.L. (Abertura, Cáceres), born after eighteen months of research to reinvent Extremaduran vermouth with native Cayetana grape from the Guadiana riverbank. The project — a tribute to the mother who inspires the brand — seeks a rebellious, fresh and elegant profile against traditional vermouth, with top-quality botanicals in a complex formulation.

A fusion of selected botanicals and white Cayetana grape from Badajoz — mid-to-late ripening, low acidity, intense ripe-fruit perfume and notable glycerol index. Three months of careful maceration and two months in bottle before release. 15% vol. Limited editions such as «Hugo. Parte 2» (2021 vintage, 2,998 bottles).
