Vermouth Gran Reserva Benito Escudero is the aged expression of the Rioja vermouth line from Bodegas Familia Escudero in Grávalos: 100% Garnacha from vineyards over eighty years old, macerated with more than forty native botanicals from the Moncayo and Pyrenees per the 1950 family recipe. The wine ages several years in French and American oak barrels and then in tank; 25% of the vermouth is made with raisined grapes to add sweetness, complexity and body. 17% vol., 75 cl. For Vermutpedia, it documents the Benito Escudero pinnacle against the entry artisan vermouth (15%, more than twenty-five botanicals).
