Vermut Blanco Cavall de Foc

Celler La Muntanya

Muro de Alcoy , España

Overall impression

Vermut Blanco Cavall de Foc is the white expression of the Cavall de Foc range from Celler La Muntanya (Muro de Alcoy, Alicante), the accessible Mediterranean sibling opposite Saüc Blanco. Per the winery's official vermouth tasting note, it shares the same botanical family as the red and bitter orange: wormwood as axis, green orange peel, spicy angelica root, lemon verbena, cinnamon, walnut and hibiscus, infused by natural maceration. Matte white bottle with green horse and «Vermut de Minifundio». 15% vol., 75 cl (~€12 in the official shop). For Vermutpedia, it is the house's Mariola white: without barrel ageing or the elder flowers of the reserve range.
