Vermut Naranja Amarga Cavall de Foc

Celler La Muntanya

Muro de Alcoy , España

Overall impression

Vermut Naranja Amarga Cavall de Foc is the citrus modality of the Cavall de Foc range from Celler La Muntanya (Muro de Alcoy, Alicante). The winery's official vermouth tasting note labels it «Vermut Blanco Naranja Amarga» and shares the same botanical selection as the red and white: wormwood as axis, green orange peel, spicy angelica root, lemon verbena, cinnamon, walnut and hibiscus, by natural maceration. Matte white bottle with orange horse and «Vermut de Minifundio». 15% vol., 75 cl (~€12–15 in the official shop). For Vermutpedia, it is the house's Mariola citrus: same base and botanicals as the other Cavall de Foc vermouths, with emphasis on bitter orange.
