Overall impression

Vermut Ciento Volando Pink (also known as the range's rosé) is the light, refreshing aperitif from Bodegas Urbanas designed for those starting out in vermouth. According to the technical sheet, it is made with estate Garnacha rosé wine, artisan alcohol obtained by distilling their own organic wines — aromatic, complex and subtle, barrel-aged — organic cane sugar and botanicals from their land: herbs, spices, summer fruits and flowers, with special presence of cinnamon and red fruits. At 15.5% vol. and 75 cl in a clear bottle that shows the pale pink, it occupies the most accessible slot in the Ciento Volando line — red, white, pink and orange — with organic certification and Mediterranean spirit in Godella, ten kilometres from Valencia.

How to serve it

According to the technical sheet, serve cold between 6 and 8 °C over ice; garnish with blueberries, raspberries and/or blackberries and, if desired, an olive. Pairs with salted fish, pickles, preserves and/or spiced or spicy food. Ideal on the terrace, as a rosé spritz with soda or dry sparkling wine, and as a gateway to the range before the red or orange. Bodegas Urbanas offers it in guided tastings and at ElWineBar in Godella. Available at bodegasurbanas.es/tienda, in 6-bottle cases and 20 L Key Keg.
