Vermut Ciento Volando Blanco

Bodegas Urbanas (Fernández Pons)

Godella , España

Overall impression

Vermut Ciento Volando Blanco is the citrus Mediterranean aperitif of the organic range from Bodegas Urbanas (Fernández Pons) in Godella, ten kilometres from Valencia. According to the winery technical sheet, it is made with Macabeo white wine from estate vineyards, artisan alcohol obtained by distilling their own organic wines in a copper alembic — aromatic, complex and subtle, barrel-aged — organic cane sugar and local botanicals: fruits, spices and Mediterranean forest herbs, with citrus predominance (orange, lemon and grapefruit). The house presents it as the perfect refreshing aperitif with a special citrus accent. At 15.5% vol. and 75 cl, it belongs to the Ciento Volando line — red, white, pink and orange — built for accessible enjoyment with organic certification.

How to serve it

According to the technical sheet, serve cold between 6 and 8 °C over ice; garnish with an orange and/or lemon slice and, if desired, an olive. Pairs with salted fish, pickles, preserves and/or spiced or spicy food. At home it works alone, in a light spritz with soda or in citrus mixed drinks. Bodegas Urbanas also offers it in guided tastings and at ElWineBar in Godella. Available at bodegasurbanas.es/tienda and in 20 L Key Keg for hospitality.
