Hipócritas Blanco is the citrus expression of Hipócritas, a Chilean «Hippocratic wine» / artisan vermouth project documented at @hipocritas_vermut. Per the official March 2026 presentation, it is made on Semillon and muscat wine from Viña San Vicente (Itata Valley) and a grape distillate resting on wormwood, sweet wormwood, boldo, pennyroyal, elderflower, chamomile and more than 30 southern botanicals, with plenty of lemon peel and spices. The house describes it as citrus, vibrant, shamelessly fresh, jovial and playful. For Vermutpedia, it documents the herbal-citrus white of this Itata line alongside Rojo Rojísimo: fortifying local wine with botanicals from southern Chile.

How to serve it

The house recommends it very cold with plenty of ice, a lemon slice and an olive; also with tonic or in a Spritz with sparkling wine; and, for the daring, a «portugués» with beer. Typical serving temperature 6–10 °C.

Production context

Hipócritas presents itself as a potion «sweet and bitter like life itself», made with patience and tenderness. Wine base: Semillon and muscat from @vinasanvicente in the Itata Valley (Guarilihue cited by the house). Grape distillate macerated with southern Chilean botanicals.
