Vermut Lezarria Blanco
Overall impression
Vermut Lezarria Blanco shares the artisan method of the Negro—seven weeks' maceration in clay tinajas and rest in oak barrel—but with a brighter, fresher profile. Made by Lisard Bellod in Conca de Barberà (Tarragona); ideal as an everyday summer vermouth according to distributors.
Nose and palate
Same philosophy of botanical extraction and pressing as the red, with a family recipe refined generation after generation. Youth and finesse on the palate; balance of acidity, sweetness and bitterness. A refreshing alternative to classic red vermouth.
How to serve it
Very cold over ice with a wedge of lemon; the winery recommends a pick with two stuffed olives.
Production context
Made in Conca de Barberà by Bodegas Bellod / Lisard Bellod. Fifteen percent alcohol, 75 cl. Sister project to Vermut Montseta (Valls) within enologist Bellod's vermouth universe.
