Vermut Lezarria Negro is an artisan vermouth by Lisard Bellod (Bodegas Bellod, Conca de Barberà, Tarragona), enologist also behind Vermut Montseta. A family recipe retouched generation after generation until distinctive botanicals gave the Lezarria brand its name. Characterised by youth and finesse, balance between acidity, sweetness and bitterness according to distributors.

Nose and palate

Artisan production: botanicals macerate seven weeks in clay tinajas; essence extraction and pressing; rest in oak barrels to homogenise. An everyday vermouth profile, a indulgent alternative to beer in summer according to Aperitif Shop. Ideal with stuffed olives on a pick.

How to serve it

Made in Conca de Barberà (Tarragona) by Lisard Bellod. Seven weeks' maceration in clay tinaja + oak barrel. Fifteen percent alcohol, 75 cl. Sibling: Lezarria Blanco.
