Overall impression

Vermouth Perlatinta Etiqueta Negra — also listed as Vermouth Perlatinta or Perlatinta Tinto — is the black-label presentation of Perlatinta's red vermouth, Sara Piñón's personal project founded in 2021. The brand selects wines from different Spanish denominations (Monterrei, Madrid, La Mancha, among others) and presents them as a homage to flamenco: the name combines «Perla» — a gaditana bulerías singer — and «tinta» for the grape. According to retailers (VinoPremier, Spanish Liquors, La Zascandilería), the vermouth is made from Pedro Ximénez; indicative price about €10.90–11 for the 75 cl bottle. On the official site it sits alongside Vermouth Perlatinta Etiqueta Rosa as the second presentation of the same vermouth range. For Vermutpedia, it documents the PX vermouth of Sara Piñón's flamenco project: semisweet red aperitif, editorial score still pending.

Pending evaluation.

How to serve it

Very cold, neat or on ice, in the bar-and-terrace vermuteo line. The house recommends about 6 °C for sister Etiqueta Rosa; the same cold register fits here. Pairs with intense tapas — anchovies, boquerones, conservas, escabeche — according to the pairing profile published for the range. Ideal as aperitif before lunch or mid-afternoon; not bar-spec cocktail vermouth, but an accessible flamenco glass.

Production context

Perlatinta (Sara Piñón): selection of author wines and premium vermouth with gaditano identity and labels inspired by flamenco artists; project started in 2021 after leaving teaching, according to the VinoPremier blog. Declared Pedro Ximénez base; typed as red vermouth; 15% vol. documented on the official Etiqueta Rosa sheet (same house, same base grape); no barrel ageing declared on that sheet (0 days). 75 cl format; two commercial presentations (Etiqueta Negra / Tinto and Etiqueta Rosa). Web: perlatinta.com; Instagram presence (@perlatinta per house communication). For Vermutpedia, Etiqueta Negra synthesises the black path of Perlatinta vermouth: PX, 75 cl and catalogue verifiable at perlatinta.com and VinoPremier.
