Overall impression

Vermut Picofino Original Gin Fusión is born in Meres (Siero, Asturias) with a clear idea: create a softer, rounder, more balanced category without renouncing vermouth character. The Patito Ruso Company S.L. fortifies wine macerated with botanicals using five-times-distilled Picofino Original gin — instead of neutral agricultural alcohol — achieving lower alcoholic sensation, less sweetness and less raw bitterness with an intense, clean aromatic profile.

Nose and palate

Balanced and recognisable: fine integration of wine, botanicals and citrus notes from the gin. Less «headstrong» than conventional vermouths; round, elegant and easy-drinking passage, suitable for newcomers and vermouth enthusiasts alike.

How to serve it

Very cold with ice; lemon twist for freshness, or orange with pitted green olive. Classic aperitif in the Picofino universe (Doña Gilda, mussels in vermouth escabeche). Formats 75 cl, 20 cl and 3 L hospitality magnum.

Production context

Traditional artisan production with a twist in fortification: slow maceration of botanicals, roots and plants on a wine base. 15% vol. First reference of the brand; range expanded with Vermut de Naranja (2023) and Picofino aperitifs. Polígono Proni, Meres.
