Brevatges Raimon

Costers del Segre , España

Overall impression

Raimut Vermut Blanc is the white reference of Raimut, the artisan brand of Brevatges Raimon (Raimon Perales), launched in spring 2023 alongside Negre as a personal vermouth project with marked personality. According to brevatgesraimon.com, it is built on high-quality white wine macerated with more than fifteen botanicals in an intense aromatic profile where citrus and floral notes predominate. The base is local Macabeo per project documentation on fora-gin.com, with production in Costers del Segre, south of the Andorran border. A product distinct from Vermut Raimat El Polvorí (Raimat, Lleida). 75 cl bottle; 15% vol. per the official website.

Nose and palate

Pending evaluation.

How to serve it

Very cold, between 6 and 8 °C, neat or with ice and lemon or orange peel, for a light aperitif. Also in spritz or simple mixed drinks where a botanical Lleida white brings citrus freshness without losing body.

Production context

Distributed by Brevatges Raimon (Andorra contact; production in Costers del Segre, Spain). 15% vol., 75 cl. No barrel ageing declared. The official Raimut vermouth range comprises only Negre and Blanc; Blanc emphasises citrus and floral botanicals within the same scheme of more than fifteen ingredients on a white-wine base. The house also takes part in FORA × RAIMUT Negroni, a ready-to-serve cocktail derived from the Negre in collaboration with FORA Gin (fora-gin.com); a product distinct from bottled vermouth. Contains sulphites.
