Raimut Vermut Negre is the red-style reference of Raimut, the artisan brand of Brevatges Raimon (Raimon Perales), born in Andorra in spring 2023 as a personal vermouth project of intense character. According to the house technical sheet, it is made in the Costers del Segre D.O. on a high-quality white-wine base with more than fifteen botanicals —bitter orange, cinnamon and wormwood to the fore— and refinement at Bodegas Mazuela. The base is local Macabeo; intense mahogany colour and 75 cl swing-top bottle. The label links to the brand's VID VID music project. Not to be confused with Vermut Raimat El Polvorí (Raimat winery, Lleida), a distinct Codorníu group product. 15% vol.

How to serve it

Between 6 and 10 °C, with ice and orange peel, as recommended by the house on its technical sheet. Also neat, in Catalan aperitivo style, or in Negroni and mixed drinks where an intense botanical Lleida vermouth brings bitterness and Mediterranean spice.

Brand managed by Brevatges Raimon (Raimon Perales; Andorra contact, market in Spain and other countries). Production in Costers del Segre D.O. with refinement at Bodegas Mazuela; 15% vol., 75 cl. No barrel ageing declared. The bottled Raimut vermouth range comprises only Negre and Blanc; both share white-wine base and a botanical architecture of more than fifteen ingredients, with bitter citrus, cinnamon and wormwood predominating in Negre per the house. The brand also features in FORA × RAIMUT Negroni: a ready-to-serve cocktail —not vermouth— combining FORA Clàssic gin, Raimut Negre and bitter, refined in Rioja reserve wine barrels at Bodegas Mazuela and bottled at the FORA distillery (Andorra); 28% vol., 70 cl, IWSC silver medal.
