Overall impression

Siderit Vermut Cherry Wood Reserva 2020 is the limited 2020 edition from Destilería Siderit (Arce, Cantabria): based on Pedro Ximénez grape with double maceration — vermouth bitter herbs and melliferous flowers from the Cantabrian coast, with heather predominant — no added sugar, only the natural sweetness of PX. It differs from the rest of the range through twenty-four months' ageing in cherry barrels, lending a subtle stone-fruit character. Released in 2020 within the Cantabrian micro-distillery's annual Reserva line.
