Overall impression

Vermouth blanc demi-doux 2025 is the most luscious expression of L'Atelier du Bouilleur in the Haute Vallée de l'Orb (Hérault). Made in cooperation with Domaine Sarabande (Faugères), white juice is fortified with wine eau-de-vie aromatised with wild-foraged and distillery-garden herbs. Versus blanc sec 2024 — drier, with 36 g/L residual sugar — this demi-doux reaches 104 g/L in the vermouth demi-doux category.

Nose and palate

Colour somewhat darker than the sec. Spiced cola and candied citrus notes with a floral touch. Sweet without cloying, with the gourmandise proper to demi-doux style. Botanicals include armoise, arquebuse, yarrow, rose, woodruff and bitter, sweet and grapefruit citrus.

How to serve it

Over ice at aperitivo, in cocktails or even as «vin chaud» in winter, per the house. Complements Vermouth Blanc Sec 2024 when you want more roundness and residual sweetness.

Production context

Vin muté et aromatisé aux herbes. Cuvée Sarabande & AdB, 2025 vintage. 75 cl. Sold through the producer's online boutique in Occitanie.
