Atxa Vermouth Blanco

Destilerías Acha

Amurrio , España

Overall impression

Atxa Vermouth Blanco is the luminous expression of Destilerías Acha (Amurrio, since 1831): the same artisan spirit as the red on white wine from local bodegas and more than 30 botanicals — wormwood, gentian, cardamom, clove, hibiscus, chamomile, cinnamon, fennel. 90 points Guía Peñín Vermut 2020; fresher, more citrus and elegant profile than the mahogany sibling.

Nose and palate

Pending evaluation.

How to serve it

Aperitif with tonic or soda; dry Martini or light combinations where a Basque white brings herbaceousness without weight.

Artisan maceration, adjustment, sweetening, rest and filtration. 15% vol., 1 L. Second reference of the Atxa range alongside Red, Reserva Familia, Mango and Naranja & Karpy.
