Dulce & Kanalla Vermut Rojo is the classic reference of Bodegas Ladrón de Lunas (Cullera, Valencia), a vermouth range betting on natural product, long maceration and more than a century of Valencian tradition. 90 points Peñín Guide (2019 tasting). Nose and palate

Dark amber caramel colour with reddish reflections. Nose: fresh wormwood herbs and balsamic notes with spice; cocoa notes according to the Ladrón de Lunas blog. Soft, elegant palate, slightly alcoholic; fresh herbs, undergrowth, balsamic and spice with a pleasant finish. More than 30 botanics with wormwood as the main note plus the house's own distillations give the red its classic Valencian density — round, herbal and gently sweet-bitter without harshness.

How to serve it

Cold, on its own or with ice; Valencian Mediterranean aperitif. Base for contemporary mixed drinks. The bodega's classic format emphasises ice and informal terrace service where the Airén base, wormwood and balsamic profile can unfold at a moderate chill without dilution.
