Bitter Premium Gallo Bravo

Pista Corta Bodegas

Madrid , España

Overall impression

Gallo Bravo is the premium bitter from Pista Corta Bodegas — «the bitter one» on the Bocamanga card: made like a vermouth but with more selected wormwood and longer maceration, on a Mediterranean orange profile and twelve botanicals. Intense, direct aperitif for cocktails, spritz and drinkers seeking more bitterness than classic red vermouth.

Nose and palate

Pending evaluation.

How to serve it

Neat with ice and orange; in a spritz with soda; or as a cocktail base (including Negroni Pista Corta). Signature Gallo Spritz: 1/2 Gallo Bravo, 1/2 soda and a splash of Verdejo.

Production context

Original formula with twelve botanicals, selected wormwood and Mediterranean orange per the label. 15% vol., 75 cl. Sold at pistacortabodegas.com alongside the Bocamanga range.
