How we calculate the Vermutpedia Score →

Overall impression

Vermut Gilda Blanco is an artisan vermouth from Bodega Latarce in DO Toro. Soft, fruity and elegant according to the house, with maceration of more than thirty aromatic herbs—it is the white counterpoint to Gilda Tinto in the Zamoran winery's vermouth line.

Nose and palate

Medium-intensity straw yellow. Powerful, balsamic, spiced nose with caramel, vanilla and orange peel. Sweet entry, dense, powerful passage with balanced acidity and bitterness—a semisweet white with Toro botanical intensity.

How to serve it

Very cold gourmet aperitif; the winery presents it as a select drink to open the palate. Also in classic combinations with ice and citrus.

Production context

Fifteen percent alcohol, 75 cl. One of two vermouth references from Latarce alongside Gilda Tinto; made in DO Toro with semisweet profile and intense botanicals.
