How we calculate the Vermutpedia Score →

Overall impression

Roberto Amillo Reserva Especial is the haute perfumery of Jerez vermouth: not based on neutral white wine, but on dry Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez aged in oak butts, macerated with over thirty herbs, roots and flowers in French oak. Personal selection by Roberto Amillo, expert in old Sherries. 93 points Guía Peñín.

How to serve it

The house recommends drinking it neat, very cold (around 5 °C), without ice, in a fine crystal glass. Not diluted terrace vermouth: this is for tasting.

Production context

15% vol., 75 cl. Distinct from Vermut Amillo made by Bodegas Altanza. Sold at vilaviniteca.es, allnaturalbilbao.com and gourmet channels.
