Sardino Vermut Blanco
Vermutpedia Score: 7.5/10
Overall impression
Sardino Vermut Blanco shares the maritime philosophy of the red: essence in clay jars with plants, flowers and botanicals in wine alcohol and spring water, blended with base white wine and sweetened according to the traditional recipe since 1943. Fresh, saline and artisan; luminous expression of the Pontevedra range.
Nose and palate
Straw yellow, harmonious. Balance of sweetness and bitterness with fresh, fruity nuances; highly aromatic with long gustatory persistence. Lightly saline touch typical of Galician maritime vermouth.
How to serve it
Between 6 and 8 °C with stuffed olives and orange slice. Ideal with fish, shellfish, rice dishes, nuts, cheeses and charcuterie.
Production context
Artisan production in Pontevedra with km 0 ingredients when possible. 15% vol., 75 cl. Sardino range: Red, White and Reserva (12 months in barrel).
