How we calculate the Vermutpedia Score →

Overall impression

Wachisnais Celestial is the pinnacle of the Wachisnais range (Pedrosa de Duero, Ribera): red vermouth aged nine months in barrel, then cut with Rita Hetvin liqueur wine — more than six years in barrel. Special semisweet edition that the house defines as «unique in the world»: complex, elegant and authentic.

Nose and palate

Greater woody depth and elegant sweetness than Tintorro in the range. Semisweet profile with double-ageing layers: wood from the base vermouth and oxidative richness from Hetvin liqueur. Gastronomic and for special occasions.

How to serve it

Well chilled, a single ice cube and orange peel. Store in the fridge once opened.

Production context

Made by After The Misa Wachisnais S.L. 16% vol., 75 cl. Completes the range of six modalities: Tintorro, Blanco, Pedrosini, Clarete, Celestial and Temazo.
