Overall impression

Vermouth Arlini is the semidry artisan red from Bodegas Arloren (Arce Lorente family, Cañada del Trigo, Jumilla, since 1975). Late-harvest Monastrell (minimum 16°), fermentation stopped at 15° and one month of maceration with aromatic plants, roots and flowers — juniper to the fore — in 700-litre French oak barrels. A personal vermouth project by José Antonio Arce built on the family recipe and Jumilla Monastrell.
