Overall impression

Bitter Blanc opens Maison Aurian's Antollini range: a contemporary reinterpretation of the aperitifs the Condom distillery made decades ago. Gascon must and wine fortified with Armagnac, fruit, herb and flower infusions; more than two years of work until commercial launch.

Nose and palate

Complex nose of old liqueur wine, honey, bitterness and herbs. Generous, very complex palate in aromatic herbs, quite bitter, with sweetness and spice; buttery notes from malolactic fermentation. Balanced finish in bitterness and complexity, with good length.

How to serve it

Aperitivo neat or base for dry-bitter profile cocktails.

Production context

17% vol., 75 cl. First reference of the relaunched Antollini line. Aurian (Gers) recovers its aperitif legacy with fine ingredients and ageing in Armagnac barrels. Siblings: Bitter Rouge, Armagnac & Miel and Truffe.
