Overall impression

Antollini Armagnac & Miel is the most gourmand expression of Maison Aurian's Antollini line (Condom, Gers), relaunched after more than two years of development on old house aperitif recipes from the distillery founded in 1880. Combines old pineau, Landes heather honey and vieil Armagnac in a 17° Gascon vermouth.

Nose and palate

Complex nose: old pineau, wood, prune, honey, caramel and discreet herbs. Generous palate in honey and vieil Armagnac, with gentle bitterness compensated by aromatics. Balanced finish between heather honey and Armagnac rancio.

How to serve it

Cold with ice or in sweet-bitter profile cocktails (spritz, highball).

Production context

17% vol., 75 cl. Third reference in the range alongside Bitter Blanc, Bitter Rouge and Truffe. Base of fortified Gascon wines aged in Armagnac barrels, with selected ingredients per Isabella and Florent Aurian's ambition for «the best vermouth possible».
