Overall impression

Luis The Marinero White Vermut is the white of Bodegas Valdepablo's Mediterranean line in Terrer (Calatayud): a vermouth with personality, fresh and aromatic, bottled in the sailor-stripe bottle that identifies the whole range. Against the litre-format Casa Valdepablo Blanco — a volume reference — Luis The Marinero opts for 75 cl format, avant-garde design and a more floral, citrus profile documented by the house. It shares Valdepablo's vermouth legacy since 1928 with the red and sangrias of the same line.

Nose and palate

Pale yellow colour. Balanced nose highlighting perfumes of sweet flowers and wild plants touched with citrus notes that bring freshness and a light vanilla aroma. Intense flavour with a sweet, persistent aftertaste. On the palate it is fresh, with a sweet, balanced entry, achieving a perfect balance between acidity and sweetness.

How to serve it

Very cold with ice in a wide glass; lime or orange slice to reinforce the citrus character. Light aperitivo with seafood, salads or fresh tapas. Also in spritz with soda or light tonic when you want a recognisable Mediterranean white.
