Turmeon Original is the vermouth with which the Turmeon brand was born at Bodegas Jaime (Calle Mayor 13, Morata de Jalón, Zaragoza), family winery since 1846, range relaunched in 2015. According to turmeon.com, it is the vermouth with which everything started: mahogany colour with intense aromas of hazelnuts, almonds, nuts and dried figs and a balsamic touch per the international product sheet. On the palate, full-bodied with long finish and silky tannins; the shop declares 140 g/l sugar. Made with 100% Macabeo, macerated with more than twenty botanicals and raised in century-old soleras with Pipero barrels over eighty years old. 15% vol., 750 ml (€12.95 online). World's first animated label in the Turmeon line.

How to serve it

Turmeon recommends Original with ice, one olive and orange peel — the house classic — or as a cocktail base (Negroni, Americano). Also suits long after-dinner sessions. Serve cold, 6–8 °C. World's first moving label in the Turmeon line. Range includes Blanco, Rosé, Clásico, Zero, Weed, Honey and 3 L tap. Vermouth recipe over a hundred years old, marketed since 2015 by the Jaime family.
