Overall impression

Olave Blanco is the luminous expression of the Reus vermouth school reborn at Celler Sort del Castell (2014): Macabeo macerated with dozens of herbs and passage through barrel, with the same hedonistic philosophy as the Red but a softer, more citrus and velvety profile. The intermediate white of a triad culminating in Reserva Rojo Especial (18%).

Nose and palate

Transparent, with yellow and green reflections; dense yet clean. Intense nose of aromatic herbs and spices with balsamic touches. Palate of soft alcoholic intensity, very balanced with acidity; wood and citrus well integrated with the herbs. Velvety texture and long aftertaste.

How to serve it

Between 4 and 6 °C with pickles, Roman-style squid or steamed mussels. Refreshing cocktails with dry gin, vodka or tonic.

Production context

Made in El Morell (Tarragona) within the Oratvin project. Botanical maceration and rest in oak. 15% vol., 75 cl. Second Olave modality alongside Red (16%) and Reserva Rojo Especial.
