Cala Morisca Vermut Blanco

Celler Díaz

Sitges , España

Overall impression

Cala Morisca Vermut Blanco from Celler Díaz (Sitges) is born from a preserved traditional Sitges recipe refined with subtle modern touches according to the winery. Same production line as the red but with a botanical composition oriented towards greater aromaticity on the nose. Macabeo from Garraf base according to the celler's official packs.

Nose and palate

Yellowish colour with greenish tips. Very aromatic with personality on the nose: wormwood, cinnamon and clove with bitter orange citrus. Spiced flavours; intense and bitter finish according to La Vermu and Catvinum. Unctuous sweet-bitter balance with long aftertaste.

How to serve it

Cold, alone or over ice; a summery alternative to the red in Sitges aperitivo. Included in the White & Black Pack. Ideal for Mediterranean terrace service where aromatic white vermouth replaces the heavier red expressions of the range.

Production context

Made in Sitges (Barcelona) by Celler Díaz. Macabeo base; botanicals selected for aromatic white profile. 15% vol., 75 cl (~€8.25 RRP La Vermu). Siblings in range: Red, Black Edition, Blue Edition, Egarenca.
