Vermut Celda Especiado is the spiced reference from Celda by Mazmorra (Zaragoza), the author vermouth brand of Taberna La Mazmorra. Per the producer, it is an artisan red vermouth on a Macabeo and Chardonnay base from Bodegas Valdovinos, macerated with clove, rosemary and orange peel. The website describes it as an «insolent prelude»: intense, bold and deep, spicy and citrus. Each bottle numbered, torn label hand-applied and glass stopper. 17.2% vol., 75 cl. Forms the classic trio with Herbáceo and Frutal, extended by the limited Era de los Nogales edition.

Production context

Made entirely in Aragón by Celda by Mazmorra. Local Macabeo and Chardonnay base (Bodegas Valdovinos); slow maceration in stainless steel with clove, rosemary and orange peel «until the flavours meet»; artisan filtering and bottling. Limited production: each bottle hand-numbered and unique. Torn-look labels applied by hand, with a story written by the creator. Glass stopper preserves aromas. 17.2% vol., 75 cl. Contains sulphites.
