Overall impression

Lodeiros Blanco is an author vermouth made from moscatel mistela with artisan methods and maximum naturalness: the base wine naturally supplies most sugars and alcohol, without artificial compounds. Each batch is macerated with selected botanicals for freshness, aromatic complexity and balance. Conceived as a fresher, subtler take on vermouth where the wine base and equilibrium take priority over aromatic intensity. Fifteen percent alcohol, 9° Baumé, 75 cl.

Nose and palate

Pale, bright, clean yellow. Delicate, elegant aromatic nose with soft notes of aromatic herbs, marjoram and light vanilla hints; clean, fresh, well-integrated profile. On the palate it is fresh, fruity and balanced, with green citrus dominating for vivacity; good persistence and pleasantly velvety finish.

How to serve it

At 6–8 °C. Classic: neat over ice with a lime slice. Refreshing: mix with lime soda 1:1, ice and a fresh basil leaf.

Production context

Bodegas Lodeiros S.L., Vía Faraday 20, Santiago de Compostela. No barrel passage. Complements traditional Lodeiros Red, the Vento range and the 0% added-sugar editions from the same Galician winery.
