How we calculate the Vermutpedia Score →

Overall impression

Lodeiros Red 0% is the purest, most honest take on the house traditional vermouth: made artisanally, it obtains all sugars and alcohol solely from the wine, with no additions. Its intense, balanced character comes from slow maceration of selected botanicals that add depth, bitterness and a long finish. 100% recyclable bottle without plastic. Fifteen percent alcohol, 9° Baumé, 75 cl.

Nose and palate

Bright, clean mahogany. Fragrant and intense, with strong balsamic notes accompanied by sweet hints of cinnamon and vanilla. Round, consistent entry with spiced, herbaceous retronasal; bitterness leads with delicate sweet notes for balance. Toasted finish from oak barrel ageing.

How to serve it

At 6–8 °C. Classic: over ice with an orange slice. Refreshing: mix with tonic 1:1, ice and a lemon slice or citrus peel twist.

Production context

Thirty days in oak barrel after artisan maceration on moscatel mistela. No-added-sugar variant of traditional Lodeiros Red; complements Lodeiros White 0% and the Vento range.
