Overall impression

Giniris is the most innovative bet from De Muller (Reus): vermouth that adds to the artisan base of Mediterranean herbs, flowers and roots a three-month maceration of juniper berries in French oak barrels, extracting a unique gin-like essence. Vinari award for best vermouth for cocktails. 18% vol., 700 ml format in gift box.

Nose and palate

Coffee brown with amber tones. Spiced aromas: dill, black pepper, nutmeg; slight citrus sensation and liquorice aftertaste. Sweet entry, citrus mid-palate, slightly bitter finish with notes from the different macerations.

How to serve it

Between 5 and 7 °C as aperitif or in cocktails that call for vermouth with a gin-like profile.

Production context

Made in Reus by De Muller since 1851. Juniper essence incorporated into the house botanical blend. Store at 13–18 °C. Closes the range alongside Iris Rojo, Iris Blanco and Reserva.
