Overall impression

Vermouth Iris Rojo is the icon of Reus vermouth: a tradition of consumption and production with freshness and subtlety in flavour. Maceration of more than 150 Mediterranean botanicals with the ancient Cochs house formula — integrated into De Muller in 1999 — of more than a hundred years. Reus tavern reference alongside Reserva and Giniris.

Nose and palate

Dark brown with amber reflections. Sweet, herbaceous and caramelised perfume: wormwood, rosemary, sage, anise, fennel and liquorice. Enveloping, warm palate; balanced sweetness with acidity and slightly bitter finish. Hazelnut notes.

How to serve it

Very cold (5–10 °C) with ice; aperitif with vinegar preserves. Negroni, Manhattan or Americano.

Production context

Made in Reus by De Muller (founded 1851). 16% vol.; formats of 75 cl, 1 L and 1.5 L depending on channel. Entry of range alongside Iris Blanco, Reserva and Giniris.
