Overall impression

Vermouth Iris Blanco is one of the best-known vermouths of Reus, world capital of vermouth. Same heritage of more than 150 Mediterranean botanicals as red Iris, on a Garnacha Blanca base; the infusion stands out for greater citrus and floral content. Crystal-clear, aniseed and silky profile for a light aperitif.

Nose and palate

Crystal yellow with straw reflections. Soft, penetrating, alcoholic aroma; subtle candied fruit and vanilla. Sweet, soft, silky palate with slight citrus taste.

How to serve it

Well chilled (5–7 °C) with ice and lemon twist or olive; with soda or tonic. Useful in Pichuncho and dry Martini variants.

Production context

Made at De Muller with traditional Cochs formula. 16% vol.; usual presentation in 1 L (also 1.5 L and 5 L for HORECA). Pair of Iris Rojo in the classic range.
